Introduction
The advent of hi-tech crime, whether
the use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
to perpetrate crime or where ICT is 'the victim', has brought
about increased strain on tightly constrained
resources, especially when such resources need to be brought
to bear in the fight against international
terrorism. As if hi-tech crime were not enough
of an additional policing burden, Law Enforcement (LE)
still faces the same requirement to secure internal
and sensitive personal data against compromise of confidentiality,
integrity and availability, in accordance with
HMG's Manual of Protective Security (MPS).
Conduct
Hereford InfoSec is not only able to
assist LE secure sensitive information in accordance with
MPS but also has trained hi-tech forensics practitioners
able to offer support in the seizure, imaging and, if
required, investigation of hi-tech evidence, whether computer
or mobile phone based, and in accordance with the ACPO
guidelines. Call or email
us now to see how
we can help.
