Introduction
Where inter-site communications must
be conducted in absolute secrecy, the only option is
to employ Communications
Security, or ComSec, as it is
known within the InfoSec/IRM industry. Most often this
will involve the setup of software based encryption on
computer networks but hardware encryption is available
for communications other than computer networks or
where software encryption is too slow.
Conduct
Hereford InfoSec is able to apply the
considerable experience of its personnel to the development
and deployment of cryptographic applications, whether in
hardware or software, up to and including national security
levels as dictated by the Govt's Communications and
Electronics Security Group (CESG), the UK national authority
on such matters.
